Industrial Air Treatment Equipment FAQ

Practical answers for specifying scrubbers, FRP fans, biofilters, odor-control systems, installation, maintenance, and international quotations.

Equipment selection

What information is required to size an industrial air treatment system?

Please provide design airflow, pollutant names and inlet concentrations, gas temperature and humidity, operating hours, dust or mist loading, required outlet limit, available footprint, electrical supply, and site location. Process safety data is also required for flammable or reactive streams.

How do I choose between a wet scrubber, biofilter, activated carbon, and oxidation?

Wet scrubbers suit soluble acid or alkaline gases and mists. Biofilters suit biodegradable, humid, low-concentration odor streams. Activated carbon is commonly used for intermittent or low-load polishing. Catalytic or thermal oxidation is considered for combustible VOC loads. A combined train may be needed when the exhaust contains several pollutant classes.

What is the published range of your FRP centrifugal fans?

The current FRP fan catalog lists configurations up to 160,000 m³/h airflow, 3,000 Pa pressure, and 80°C operating temperature. Final limits depend on fan series, speed, resin system, gas composition, and motor selection.

Materials and performance

When should FRP, PP, PVC, or stainless steel be specified?

Material selection depends on every chemical in the gas and liquid phases, concentration, temperature, chlorides, abrasion, UV exposure, and fire requirements. We confirm the resin or alloy after receiving a complete process composition; a generic material label alone is not a compatibility guarantee.

Can you guarantee a removal efficiency before reviewing our process data?

No responsible supplier should guarantee a universal efficiency without a design basis. We define the expected outlet condition after reviewing inlet load, airflow variation, temperature, humidity, chemistry, operating schedule, local limit, and required redundancy. Contract values should be tied to agreed test conditions.

What controls and instruments should be included?

Typical instruments include differential pressure, liquid level, pH or ORP where relevant, temperature, fan status, pump status, and alarms. VOC or odor monitoring is selected according to the permit and process risk rather than added as a generic package.

Installation and maintenance

What maintenance information is supplied with the equipment?

The project package can include arrangement drawings, connection points, operating instructions, inspection items, consumables, spare-parts recommendations, and commissioning guidance. The exact document list is confirmed in the quotation.

How often do scrubber packing, biofilter media, or activated carbon need replacement?

There is no reliable fixed interval for every site. Replacement is driven by pressure drop, breakthrough, biological activity, channeling, fouling, chemical loading, and operating hours. We recommend monitoring criteria and inspection intervals for the selected process.

Quotation and international delivery

How can I request a technical quotation?

Send the design inputs through the enquiry form or email ruyitong0724@gmail.com. You can also call or message +86 186 7749 1549. Attach a process flow diagram, equipment list, or emission test report when available.

Can equipment be supplied for projects outside China?

International supply can be quoted with project-specific packing, documentation, delivery terms, and remote technical support. Please state the destination port or site, required Incoterm, voltage and frequency, language, and any local certification requirements.
